Mr Suryakant Jaya Suvarna, Chairman of Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Ltd, a multi-state scheduled co-operative bank, visited the MCC Bank on 5th March, 2025. The chairman of MCC Bank Ltd, Sahakara Ratna, Mr Anil Lobo, cordially welcomed the guest with floral bouquet and felicitated Mr Suvarna with shawl and memento.
During the occasion, Mr Anil Lobo expressed his joy on the visit of veteran cooperative banker, Mr Suryakant Suvarna who has been successfully leading Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Ltd, and responsible for its success in the cooperative banking sector. He recalled the invaluable contributions of late Jaya C. Suvarna, father of Mr Suryakant Jaya Suvarna, who almost single handedly turned Bharat Co-operative Bank in to a multi-state scheduled co-operative bank. He appreciated the leadership of Mr Suryakant Suvarna, who has gratefully obliged to visit MCC Bank Ltd at our request. He thanked Mr Suvarna for his cordial visit to MCC Bank and requested for his guidance and support for future endeavors of MCC Bank Ltd.
In response to the cordial welcome by the Bank, Mr Suryakant Suvarna, thanked the chairman, directors and the staff members for the felicitation. He shared his experience as chairman of Bharat co-operative Bank which has grown from a turnover of Rs 200 crores to Rs 18,000 crores in a span of 30 years with a dedicated and goal-oriented approach. He called upon the MCC Bank to stride forward towards the path of progress by taking calculated risk. He wished that the Bank would progress under the able leadership of Mr Anil Lobo.
