ATM: 

1) How does one receive an insta card of the Bank?

MCC Bank offers Insta card which can be used nationally. They can be used for transactions at ATM, POS and also for online shopping cum payments. Any customer (resident/non-resident) who has a SB/CA can apply for a Insta card.

Insta card can be obtained at the time of opening an account or at any time later by submitting a Insta card application form. After submitting the same, you can collect the Insta card and PIN from the respective branch. Or Make to visit the MCC Bank ATM to generate your green PIN.

2) What are the types of cards that can be issues to another account?

 MCC bank issues Insta card to the Saving A/c and Current  A/c Customers.

3) Can my Debit card be linked to other accounts of mine? 

Not linked to the customer other Account.

4) What are the charges associated with debit cards?

5) What is the Validity of my ATM-cum-Debit Card?

Magnetic Stripe cards are valid for 5 years from the date of issue. Once the card expires, a new card will be issued and the same will be sent to the branch and. The customer can collect the new card from the branch.

6) What happens to my Debit Card in the event of wrong entry of PIN?

The Insta card gets disabled for use after 3 repeated wrong entries of the PIN. Subsequent to this, even the correct PIN will not be accepted by the machine. This is done for security reasons. After 24hrs the customer can try to make a transaction with the existing PIN or change the PIN by opting for the Green PIN option at the nearest MCC Bank ATM.

The customer can also make use of the Card Safe option available on our MCC Bank Mobile application to create a new PIN for their ATM card.

7) Whether my ATM card cum Debit card can be used for Online Shopping?

To Enable the POS/Ecom inform the Branch or Enable the ECOM facility through the Card Safe option available on our MCC Bank Mobile application.

Insta card can be used for online shopping. They can also be used to book railway tickets, pay utility bills.

E-Commerce transaction refers to the purchases of goods / products through the internet (E-Commerce websites such as Amazon, Flipkart  and so on) using their Debit / Credit Card number and CVV (Card Verification Value) number. 

 

DIGITAL Banking.

1) What is the MPIN ?

MPIN  is 4 digits numeric password used for login to the MCC Banking application.

2) Who can Register for MCC Mobile banking?

Any MCC Bank customer whose mobile number is linked with single customer ID, Joint Accounts with operating instructions “Either Or Survivor” and has following account types:

  • Savings Account.
  • Current Account.

NOTE: Registered mobile number is one which is updated and linked with Customer ID of Bank Account Number of the customer in CBS.

 

3) What are the steps involved for registration process?

  1. Install the “The Mangalore Catholic Co-operative Bank Mobile Application from Play Store or App Store.
  2. Open the application, click on “Activate” option.
  3. Click on “Send SMS”
  4. This SMS is to verify the mobile number.
  5. Once the mobile number is successfully verified click on the “Back” Button. You will be directed to the “Activate – Profile Info” screen.
  6. Enter the personal details. Select the check box to agree with the Terms and Conditions. Click on “Next”
  7. You will be directed to the Activation screen to Create a 4-digit MPIN for the mobile
  8.  Enter the Security code: PAN or Aadhaar number,- Set MPIN of your choice (weak MPIN such as 1234 or 0000 are not allowed - Re-enter to confirm the MPIN. Click on “Done”

4) How to generate new MPIN.

Following steps are to be followed in case customer forgets MPIN

  • Click on “Forgot MPIN ” link on login screen.
  • An OTP will be sent to the Registered Mobile Number of the customer which will be validated to enter into the application. This OTP will be auto read for Android devices and for iOS customer needs to enter the same manually.
  • User will be given the option to create MPIN. User needs to re-enter MPIN to confirm.

5) What are the channels users must have for operating this application?

The Application works on Mobile Network & Wi-Fi Channel. 

6) What is registered beneficiary?

Beneficiary is the account, which is supposed to receive amount. Before initiating any transaction, user needs to register beneficiary with all the required details.

7) How to register beneficiary details/ add beneficiary?

MCC Bank App: Click on the "Fund Transfer" option on the home screen and then click on   "Add New Beneficiary." Fill in the beneficiary details and include the IFSC code in the blank column.

8) What are the fund transfer options user has in the application?

     IMPS

9) How can I check mini statement?

    User has to click on My Account there is option mini statement.
