The management and Staff members of MCC Bank celebrated Christmas at Aadhaya, Adyar Gardens, Mangalore on the eve of 14th December, 2024.
The program commenced with a prayer song by Cadence Choir headed by Mr Neil.
With the entry of Santa Claus, the venue was filled with joy and the mood of the participants was lifted to the next level.
The celebration was inaugurated by the Chairman, Sahakara Ratna Mr. Anil Lobo, and Board of Directors along with Santa Claus, by cutting the Christmas cake.
During the celebration, the Chairman’s birthday cake was also cut in honor of his birthday, which falls on 16th December.
In his address Chairman, Sahakara Ratna, Mr. Anil Lobo, expressed his joy for celebrating Christmas with the families of the Directors and staff members of the Bank. He recalled that the true joy of Christmas is in sacrificing ourselves for the betterment of the society. He said that Christ Jesus was born in a manger to emphasize that he is more concerned about the poorest of the poor. He said that MCC Bank has more responsibility towards the society and has been conducting various programs for the poor and downtrodden people in the society.
The “Cadence Choir” enthralled the gathering with mesmerizing carol singing during the occasion.
Miss Baby Riya, contestant from “Nach Nari Nach Nara” program, gave a superb dance performance which was applauded by the gathering.
The “Asthithwa Group” lead by Mr Christopher Dsouza, presented a Christmas tableau with a heart touching message for Christmas.
A renowned singer among the Konkani singers fraternity, Ms Shilpa Cutinha, presented a beautiful and emotional song, which was liked by many, in the gathering.
Prizes were distributed to the branches by the chairman, for decorating their branches beautifully befitting the occasion of Christmas.
Various spot games were conducted during the program and winners were given away with exciting prizes by the chairman.
A Christmas line dance was performed by the participants with enthusiasm and happiness.
Mr Sunil Menezes, General Manager proposed vote of thanks and Mrs Elcia Lobo, compeered the program.
The families of the Directors and the Staff members enjoyed the program with lots of Joy and happiness.
