The Mangalore Catholic Co-operative Bank strives to provide superior financial solutions to its members and customers with special care to Personal Banking needs and earn people’s trust by most friendly, professional and transparent service and thereby raising the overall banking standards.
Aims and Objectives
- To encourage thrift, cooperation among the members, Nominal members and depositors of the bank.
- To do banking business as defined in clause (b) of section 5 of the Banking Regulation Act 1949 as applicable to cooperative society and also engage in such other business as is permitted under section 6 of the said act on cooperative principles.
- To prepare and finance schemes for amelioration of the economic condition of the weaker section of the community.
- To lend money to its members on hire purchase basis against oil engines, Pump sets, Machinery, and motor vehicles as defined under the motor vehicle act.
- To lend money to small scale industries and cottage industries.
- To open branches, sub-branches, extension counters, Pay offices and offices etc., in whatever name called within the operation of the bank with the prior permission of the registrar and Reserve bank of India and to frame rules for their workings.
